Mosaic Table 006 - Occasional Table

Materials: Stained Glass Tile, Plexiglass, Birch Plywood

This unique table was a fun experiement. The stained glass mosaic is glued to clear plexiglass with clear silicone cement. Although it is hard to tell from the photos, you can see right through it! The plexi sits in a channel routed from the plywood, which is mitered together to create the frame. The legs and frame are cut from only 4 pieces of wood. It was built in Fall, 2003.
