DAYBED/SOFA Constructed with a frame of 1 1/2" laminated Baltic Birch plywood.The mattress is supported by a web of 2" industrial polyester webbing. There is also a back support, which is not needed if the daybed is up against the wall. This piece was inspired by George Nelson's daybed for Herman Miller. It was built in the Winter of 1999. Upholstery was done by Juan in Jersey City.
